Slave Resume Skills Section

After you have gotten a strong objective down, the next section you will want to tackle is the skills section. 

This section is very important, as a slave's value, beyond everyone's inherent value as a unique and important person, is determined by the skill level s/he has.  Remember, in M/s, everything the slave has is given over to the Master/Mistress, so outlining very extensively what you have to offer and bring to an M/s Household is very, very important.

Think of it in the same way you would want to be very clear in outlining your skills to a potential employer - until they have an opportunity to get to know you better through personal conversations, interviews or speaking with references, your resume speaks for you.  You want to gain someone's interest so that they wish to go to that next step.

Along another vein, it gives you the advantage of being able to weed out Masters that do not want what you have to offer or with whom you do not align.  In my opinion, it's better for a Master to self-select to move on, seeing that I am not a good match, rather than spending hours and hours, if not days or months, in conversation or courting me, only for us to discover that we are not a match.  I don't know about you, but I'd rather have all the cards on the table from jump than waste my time or get my emotions involved or create expectations, only to be disappointed later.  That's just a princess's 2 cents!  :)

On your slave resume, you should include not only hard skills - the ability to perform a certain type of task, activity or duty, but also be sure to outline your soft skills - those personal attributes you possess that enhance your personal interactions, add to your ability to perform your job, and generally make you an asset to your Master's Household.

One of the obvious, and oftentimes most talked about skills groupings for slaves is that in Domestic Service. Domestic service skills are those that are related to Household or Family care -- Cooking, cleaning, home maintenance, laundry, gardening, just to name a few!

Another area you may want to include would be Personal Attendance/Assistance.  These skills are those that assist in daily business or personal tasks,   It could be things that assist with time management, like scheduling, correspondence, appointments, etc. or be things such as technology management, notetaking, research, etc.  Depending on what you are looking for, this skill set could also include wardrobe management, dressing, bathing and massage.

You will want to include a brief description of the professional skills you possess, but be careful, you don't want to put things here that would "out" you in your workplace or otherwise give someone the ammunition to be able to damage you professionally.  You may want to include if you are currently working outside of the home, what level - full- or part-time, etc.  If someone wishes to get to know you better and you feel that you can trust that person with your professional information, you can share a resume or curriculum vitae with them at a later date.  At that time, you can also take out identifying information until you are comfortable sharing it.

Last, but far from least, you will want to include your BDSM skills and experience.   You will want to take note of what you are looking for in your resume and have this guide what you put in your slave resume, especially in the BDSM skills section.

If you are looking to offer domestic service only, there is not much of a need to include kinks, fetishes and S&M experiences, likes and limits.   If however, you are wanting to include these as a part of your service or are looking for a permanent collar, then you should include this.

Temporary service contracts would be in domestic service and personal attendance/assistance and companionship only without engaging in kink, s/m, fetish or sexual activities.  

Health/Limits

I have past spine surgery as well as spinal defects that prevent heavy lifting and sitting for long periods of time.  I have an ongoing health condition that occasionally requires modification of my work schedule and/or activities.

In summing it all up - be creative in expressing who you are!  Think out of the box and think like someone who is looking for someone to serve them and their household.  Putting your best foot forward is in everyone's best interest!

Purpose of slave resumes & getting started

In Master/slave dynamic, like other dynamics, each Master is different and each dynamic/relationship is unique.  However, it is not uncommon for a slave to identify a Master/Mistress s/he is interested in and offer that person a petition to come into service to him/her.

It is my opinion that, before you put together a petition to a Master/Mistress, you have spent some time assessing your skills and thinking about what you have to offer a potential Master.  This might be a little different to get used to as many of us still think about this type of relationship like a typical romantic relationship.  Of course, Master/slave relationships can have love, but, in general, the focus of M/s dynamics is service.

A slave resume is not unlike a resume you would put together for a job, but with some important differences. This resume will be a little more personal, and, of course, have lifestyle information included as well.

The first second we will look at is the objective.  In any resume, the objective tells the reader exactly what you are looking for, and a really well-written objective slips in important information about you (see:  http://www.wikihow.com/Write-Resume-Objectives).

Some important aspects of a slave resume are:

• How do you identify/classify yourself?  (submissive, slave, babygirl, alpha slave, etc.) ... and yes, it can be more than one!
• What exactly are you looking for?  A permanent dynamic?  A temporary contract?  What are some important things you are looking for in a Master?
• How do you describe yourself?  (using 2 - 5 adjectives)
• What are some things you hope a Master can provide?

Some examples:

Objective:  To serve a Master in a temporary service contract in order to gain services skills and experience and learn about the observation of House protocols and rituals to enhance my growth as a slave.

Objective:  To serve a Master/Daddy who has a driving need to protect and provide for the growth, development and needs of a devoted, dedicated, creative, affectionate and enthusiastic babygirl/slave who is highly service-oriented.

Objective: I require a Master/Daddy who desires to own and fully possess a dedicated, determined, and affectionate slave/baby-girl.
